Arty Stuff

Continuing the Zelda theme, I've sketched another profile image, this time of the 'King of Red Lions' from Wind Waker. I really love the japanese orientation of lions, they always look so powerful and wise, like how lions should be ^^ . Have inked this but haven't got around to colouring.

I also sketched another Kirara pic last night, which I was inspired by the 'Obokuri-Ee Umi' song from Samurai Champloo (the scene where Mugen is drowning after helping Mukuro steal money from a governmental ship). Started inking but it's not finished.

I'm sure there's more, but since it's been so long I can't remember, so that'll have to do .

Creative Writing Stuff

Finally started Chapter Four of Shroud of Memories. I have a jist of where i'm going for this now, so it shouldn't be too long until I finish the draft. I've also thought of a nice plot twist that'll go nicely with Kirara's backstory, so look forward to that .

Also started writing up Burakku's profile and back history. I designed a rough draft a long time ago, but since my character's evolved a little since then it needed a few tweaks.

Raven's Gaming Adventures

Is there a Zelda Anonymous? I think I might be growing an obsession for this game @_@. 99% of the time during the weekend, i'll be playing Zelda sometime or other. Miyamoto-sama, why do you create such awesome games, that I can't bear to put it down T^T.

At the moment i'm playing through Wind Waker mostly (this game is so short it makes me wanna cry T^T), but i've started Ocarine of Time also (Master Quest = @-@). I'm determined to complete each and every one in the series, although it'll probably take up half of my life span with all the hidden extras included in each title.

Has anyone bought Wii Sports Resort? This is so addictive as well (although nothing will replace precious Zelda *strokes it*)! The swordfighting events are my fave, swishing the living daylights out of lots of random Miis does wonders for stress XD .


In other news...

Since my last journal i've turned another year older. I didn't do much on my birthday, me and my parents went to Forty Hall, which is like a state manor with lots of gardens and forest surrounding it. I love the forest there, the atmosphere is so peaceful I could stay there for ages (and feed the local squirrels too!).

On my mum's birthday (exactly a month after mine o.o) we went to Colchester Zoo, which was awesome ^^. I got to feed an elephant, which was fun (elephant snot isn't the best thing to be having on your hands XD) and I also saw some wolves for the first time in person. I was actually lucky enough for a wolf to walk right up close to me so I could take some really good close-up shots. It didn't last though, 5 seconds later and he lost interest lol. I'll get around to uploading some of these images sooner or later ^^ .

This month I treated myself to the 'Naruto Collector's Edition Box Set', since i've been after it for ages and can't be bothered to find each manga book individually XD. Going through each novel is taking a while. At the moment i'm at volume 6 and going a steady pace of one volume per weekday, sooo i'll read them all by about roughly 4 weeks ^^.

Speaking of Naruto.. OMG KAKASHI GAIDEN IS BEING ANIMATED?
It's about time, I can't wait to see teen Kakashi in action!
